Marwani Mosque


The Marwani Mosque is located in the southeastern part of the courtyard of the Holy Mosque and is also known as the eastern level of the Qibli Mosque. This large building covers an area of 3,750 square meters, with a roof composed of barrel arches supported by massive stone pillars. The construction of the Marwani Mosque dates back to the Umayyad period.
