al-Riwaya Museum
The Narrative Museum is located in the basement of the Peace Center building in Manger Square, which was constructed in 1999 on the ruins of the old police station, as part of the celebrations for the Second Millennium with funding from the Swedish government.
The museum is expected to provide historical, archaeological, and cultural information about Bethlehem and Palestine, with the aim of highlighting the Palestinian narrative, preserving and developing the cultural heritage, and creating and reinforcing the cultural diversity of the city. This will be achieved through the use of modern technological means such as audio, visual, and exhibitions of the museum's archaeological and heritage collections. The museum also aims to develop the educational aspect for school students in Palestine.
