The Qalqilya Educational Museum was established in 2005. It was built in a traditional architectural style, integrating the past and present to reflect the Palestinian cultural heritage and regional identity. The museum has three main sections:
- The Natural History Section: This section houses a collection of preserved animals, such as birds and reptiles, along with educational models and posters. It features a mounted giraffe sculpture in the center.
- The Agriculture Section: This section displays various dried plants and grasses, accompanied by explanations about each type. It also includes a model of a traditional Palestinian water well and a detailed exhibit on the kingdom of bees and honey production.
- The Geology and Space Section: This section features valuable exhibits, including a model volcano erupting lava, a dinosaur model, a model of the Discovery space shuttle, and a collection of fossils some over 65 million years old.
The museum's courtyard is beautifully designed with waterfalls and comfortable seating areas. Additionally, the museum houses a specialized educational school for plant studies and an amphitheater with a variety of planted species.
