The Saraya / Al-Murabiten School
It is an Ottoman building dating back to 1913 A.D. It was built as an administrative headquarters, and was known as the Saraya. It was the headquarters of the district leadership during the Ottoman period.
The building included a yard and several facilities, including a detention room and an equipment room. They have found a half-barrel that contains a piece of iron, which is believed to be a gallows in the Ottoman period.
The building was completely restored, and a back wall was added to the facade, supported by wooden plastering (Shabriz, a pre-mixed, dry plaster layer based on Portland cement). This addition extends to the ground floor, and part of the first floor. The old roof of the attic was replaced with a modern concrete roof, plastered with cement, and a new roof was built for the main door instead of the old one due to its wear.
