The Cultural Forum Society
The Cultural Forum Society is a non-governmental Palestinian civil organization that was established at the end of 2003. The forum's primary aims are to:
- Advance the intellectual, social, and scientific reality of Palestinian society.
- Raise the cultural and intellectual levels of all segments of Palestinian society.
- Establish centers for cultural, social, and scientific research and studies.
- Issue pamphlets and publications after obtaining the necessary licenses.
- Promote the spirit of dialogue and cooperation within Palestinian society.
- Address the issues and concerns of the Palestinian public.
- Elevate the status of Palestinian women and defend their rights.
- Provide programs and support for children and people with special needs.
- Preserve Palestinian identity and heritage.
- Learn about and engage with other civilizations and cultures.
- Open channels of cooperation with similar centers locally, internationally, and in the Arab world, in a way that aligns with Palestinian culture and values.
The forum's activities include:
- Hosting a series of seminars featuring intellectual and cultural elites from Palestine
- Organizing workshops on topics such as elections, media, globalization, and national unity
- Organizing cultural evenings to discuss international and local narratives
- Hosting events to preserve Palestinian folklore
- Preparing various cultural events
- Holding seminars and events against the apartheid wall
- Organizing meetings for intellectuals to discuss community issues
- Developing educational programs and projects to improve education in Palestine
- Revealing and nurturing children's creativity through the Child Center of Civilization and Creativity
- Organizing summer camps and childcare initiatives
Through these diverse initiatives, the Cultural Forum Society aims to advance the intellectual, social, and cultural well-being of the Palestinian people.
It is an association affiliated with the Qalqilya Intellectuals Forum.
