The cemetery (an-Nassariya)

This is an archaeological site described as a stolen cemetery, located on the southern slope of Mount Tammun, north of Wadi al-Far'a. The cemetery is situated approximately 100 meters above sea level and covers an area of around three dunums (3,000 square meters).

The majority of the graves found at this site are shaft tombs and tunnel graves. The presence of numerous pottery shards in the area suggests that the cemetery was also the site of various burial rituals and the use of ceramic vessels.

Previous archaeological surveys of the site have indicated that human settlement and activity in this area dates back to several different historical periods, including the Early Bronze Age, Middle Bronze Age, and Late Bronze Age.

The description of this cemetery as "stolen" implies that the site has been subject to unauthorized excavation or looting, which has compromised the archaeological integrity and context of the burials and associated artifacts. This underscores the need for the proper preservation and study of such significant cultural heritage sites to better understand the region's ancient history and populations.
