Al-Malih Tower
It is a tower or castle located northwest of Hammamet Al-Maleh. Its area is about five dunums, rising about 200 meters above sea level. The tower is surrounded by a wall whose width ranges between 2.3-2.5 meters. The building contains trimmed and carved stones with an entrance. Its aperture is about 2 meters wide, and It is located on the northern side of the building. Behind the entrance, there is a room for fortifications believed to have been for the use of soldiers and the garrison, and it also includes many rooms, and it is noticeable in the construction that this tower was built in two phases; the use of large, trimmed and well-made stones marks the first. As for the second stage, smaller stones were used, and it is also noted that both the roof and the gate were roofed with semi-barrel vaults. The pottery evidence indicates that the site dates back to the Middle Ages, especially the Crusader, Ayyubid, and Mamluk periods.
