Qarawat Bani Hassan
According to the Encyclopedia of Palestine, there are remains of ancient buildings in the village, such as Al-Burj building (The Tower) which is located in the center of the village and is a very sturdy building, and some of its walls are three meters wide.
A guesthouse and a mosque were established in the village in 1944.The villagers attribute the mosque to the days of Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, and it contains an outstanding dome, a niche, halls and pillars. Nearby is an old pool built of stones with square columns. The remains of the columns and buildings are still visible until this day. It is alleged that the place was in the Roman era a luxurious cemetery, and the many caves carved into the rock are still adjacent to it. There are also remains of old buildings on the outskirts of this village, including the "Sabah Palace" to the east, which is the remains of a "guard house", "Al-Mansoura Palace", and the "Al-Fardis ruin " to its north.
In the Palestinian Chronicle, it was stated that Qarawat Bani Hassan contains a destroyed mosque, which is called Al-Omari Mosque, a stone-lined pool with square columns and a ruined tower, in addition to the ruins of buildings, cisterns, presses, cemeteries and quarries.
