Kifl Haris Shrines
The shrine Jawhar bin Abdullah is one of the most important Ayyubid religious and heritage landmarks in Kifl Haris. It consists of a chamber topped with a dome. On its southern wall, a stone inscription was fixed containing Ayat al-Kursi surrounding a 21-line text recording the journey of Jawhar bin Abdullah while performing the rites and rituals of Hajj during the Ayyubid period. Unfortunately, the stone inscription disappeared after being removed from the shrine.
shrine Dhul-Kifl is one of the most significant Ottoman shrines in Kifl Haris. The building consists of two adjoining chambers topped with deep domes. A stone inscription fixed on the northern façade of the building indicates that the shrine was completed in the year 1234 AH / 1818 CE.
shrine Dhul-Nun: located southwest of the village of Kifl Haris, north of Salfit. It consists of a large open tomb with a chamber on its eastern side dedicated for worship. From the architectural style of the chamber, it appears to date back to the late Ottoman period.
