Jenin Visitor's Center
The center, one of seven Tourist Information Centers under the Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities, is located in the Mahmoud Darwish building in central Jenin, covering an area of about 385 square meters.
The center offers several facilities, including a reception and an information hall, where tourists receive essential information about their stay in the region, tourist sites, restaurants, hotels, guides, and other services.
The second hall, known as the Jenin Treasury, showcases the governorate's tourist attractions through a 360-degree panoramic display of images on interactive touchscreens. The third hall features a timeline of the Jenin region, highlighting the development of settlements and societies from ancient times to the present. This section also provides details about services like hotels, car rentals, and restaurants.
The fourth hall houses a cinema and an interpretation center, where a 15-20 minute film on the history and culture of Palestine is shown, with English subtitles, focusing on Jenin's unique heritage. Additionally, this hall hosts other activities related to the city.
The center also includes a meeting room that accommodates up to 20 people for meetings with local and professional bodies from both the public and private sectors. A souvenir shop specializing in items from the city is also available.
