Far'un Village
The village is about 2 km south of the city center, about 130 meters above sea level. It is located on a plateau overlooking the coastal plain. It is about 8,000 dunums, and the village is surrounded from the north and west by the city of Tulkarm, from the south by al-Tayibe in occupied Palestine, and from the east by the village of Shufa.
The village contains several historical and archaeological sites, the most important of which is the well of Al-Sih, located at the bottom of the main street in the village, and dating back to the Byzantine period; the presses of Battah which are grape presses engraved in the rock; Khirbet Rashid; some tombs hewn in the rock; the village bakery dating back to the Ottoman period and the shrine of Sheikh Taym.
