Sheikh Sabi's Shrine

Sheikh Sabi's Shrine

The shrine is located on a high hill east of Burqin, overlooking Jezreel Valley (Marj Ibn Amer), and on the other side overlooking the cities of Nazareth and Umm al-Fahm, the shrine area is bordered by a military trench established by the Jordanian Army during the defense of Jenin from the Israeli occupation.

As for the building of the shrine, it dates back to the Ottoman period. It's about 16 square meters. It is a stone building consisting of one room. It has a wooden door and a small window.

The shrine was restored and rehabilitated to become a public park in 2019, with an agreement between the Burqin Municipality, and the Rozana Association, in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
