St. Justin Church

The church is situated on the southern edge of the old town of Rafidia. To the east, it is bordered by a residential building and a wedding venue, while to the west, it faces residential houses and the street leading to Rafidia. The northern side is surrounded by older residential areas. This church is relatively new, built within the last 80 years. Its main entrance faces Nablus-Qalqilya Street.

The current structure was erected on the site of an ancient church from the Crusader period. Remnants of the old church’s walls can still be seen on the eastern side, rising more than two meters above ground. The construction style and the large, well-cut stones used are characteristic of Crusader architecture. Additionally, the church’s northern side features a basement and an ancient oil press.
